About the Role
We're looking for a Senior Field Application Engineer to support customers and product development across the U.S. You'll be the technical bridge between our engineering teams and customers—designing solutions, troubleshooting systems, and helping clients realize the full potential of our AI-driven vision systems.
Key Responsibilities

Commission Cambrian-integrated production applications and support customer onboarding.

Design and implement solutions using Cambrian's AI vision system, including developing proof-of-concept projects to showcase real-world applications.

Support Sales with demos, technical presentations, and customer/staff training

Troubleshoot vision and robotic systems, recommend improvements, and oversee hardware installation to ensure compliance with customer specifications.

Provide field-based feedback to R&D for product enhancement.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s in Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, or related field (Master’s preferred).

5+ years of experience in applications engineering, in robotics.

Proficient in Python, C, C++, or C#.

Experience with industrial robot programming (e.g., URScript, ABB RAPID, KUKA KRL, Fanuc Karel).

Excellent communication skills—able to translate complex technical ideas for any audience.

Comfortable working cross-functionally and building trust with clients.

Passion for innovation and problem-solving.

Fluent in English. Willing to travel domestically and occasionally internationally.

Must have the right to work in the United States. We are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this role.
